BARNET TRANSFER STATION

Location – at end of Town Forest Road

Directions—
in Passumpsic Village turn onto Bridge Street and cross the Bridge over the Passumpsic River. As you come off the bridge, take a right onto Town Forest Road and go the end end of the road. Transfer Station is on your right.

Hours—
Saturdays from 8AM to 3PM. During summer months from the first Wednesday after Memorial Day until the first Wednesday after Labor Day the station will also be open Wednesdays from 3-7 PM. Recycling will be open on Wednesday.

Requirements for use—
for rubbish generated by living units located within the Town of Barnet. A sticker is needed to show the attendant that you are a resident and/or taxpayer of Barnet.This sticker can be obtained at the Town Clerk’s Office.

Current fees for disposal:

Mixed solid waste (MSW)	$1.00 for small kitchen bags $2.00 for 30 gal. bag $5.00 large plastic trash can

Construction & Demolition Debris (C&D)	$15.00 per cu. yd
Bulkies	$15.00 each
Metal items	No charge

Tires:

Car tires without rims (less than 16.5”) $ 2.00 each
Car tires with rims (less than 16.5”) 4.00 each
Tires without rims (larger than 16.5”) 7.00 each
Tires with rims (larger than 16.5”) 14.00 each
