Community Transportation, Inc. (RCT)
www.rideRCT.org. is a Transportation brokerage that uses all modes
of transportation including commercial buses, cars, taxis,
volunteer drivers, van pools and rideshares. We service a wide range
of passengers through several programs and we also provide rides
to the general public. As a Medicaid/Reach-up broker
for the state of Vermont, RCT coordinates medical trips for Medicaid
eligible residents and transportation for Reach-up programs.
Welcome
to the Area Agency on Aging for Northeastern Vermont,
serving Caledonia, Essex and Orleans Counties. We are a private,
non-profit United Way organization whose purpose is to support elders
sixty and older in remaining active, healthy and able to live
independently for as long as possible.

Senior Congregate
Meals
Mealtimes
provide natural occasions for socializing with friends and neighbors
as well as enjoying a nutritious meal.
Noon time meals are
available to anyone 60 years of age or older (and their spouses,
regardless of age) at Senior Meal Sites throughout the Northeast
Kingdom.

Home Delivered Senior Meals
Home delivered meals are
available to those who are unable to reach a Meal Site because of
illness or frailty. These meals are delivered by volunteers who
generously donate their time. If you are interested in volunteering as
a home delivered meals driver, please call the Senior HelpLine.
Cost
There is no charge for
senior meals. However, there is a donation policy that allows seniors
to contribute toward the cost of the meals.
